Privacy Policy

GridMVP is a fantasy football decision-support service at gridmvp.com, operated by Grid Liquid LLC (“Grid Liquid”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to remove it. It is written to be read, not skimmed. If anything is unclear, ask us.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address, the name you give us, a password we store only as a salted hash, and optional profile fields (mobile, address, timezone, scoring preference) if you choose to fill them in.
• Your questions and our answers. Every question you ask and the answer we gave, exactly as you saw it, so you can revisit it under My Answers and tell us how the call held up.
• Feedback you give. Ratings, issue tags and comments on answers.
• League data you connect. If you connect a fantasy league (on Sleeper, ESPN or CBS), we read that league’s name, settings, scoring rules, teams and rosters, and which team is yours. See “Connected leagues” below.
• Technical data. Your IP address and browser type at sign-in and while you use the app, kept for security, abuse prevention and to set your timezone. The rough location behind an IP address comes from IP Geolocation by DB-IP (CC BY 4.0), looked up on our own server; it is never sent anywhere.
• Beta access requests. If you ask to join the beta, we keep your name, email and the answers you give (where you play, how many leagues, what you’d use GridMVP for, how you heard about us, any note), so a person can review it and send you a Grid Ticket.
• Invitations. If you invite someone with a Grid Ticket, we record who invited whom.

Connected leagues

League Sync is read-only. You connect your own account through the provider’s own sign-in or sharing flow; we never ask for or see your provider password. We use league data for one purpose: to serve you answers that use your league’s scoring rules and know which players you and your opponents own. We do not republish league data, show it to other members, sell it, or use it for advertising. Removing a league on the League Sync page deletes its data from our systems, and you can revoke our access at any time from the provider’s own settings.

How we use information

• To run the service: sign you in, answer your questions, remember your settings, and show your history.
• To improve answers. Our answers are graded against what actually happened on the field. That analysis uses game results and our own projections, not your personal information.
• To send account email: verification, password resets, approval notices, and replies to messages you send us. We do not send marketing email.
• To keep the service safe: rate limiting, abuse detection, and enforcing usage limits.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run GridMVP: a hosting provider, an email delivery provider, and AI model providers that generate the text of answers. When you ask a question, the football data and the question are sent to the AI provider to produce the answer; your name, email and league identity are not part of that request. If you buy a membership, payment is handled by Stripe (including Link, Stripe’s saved-checkout wallet): your card or bank details go straight to Stripe and never reach us; we keep your Stripe customer number, your plan, its status and renewal date, and Stripe’s receipts. Stripe’s use of payment information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers. We will disclose information if the law requires it.

Sports data

NFL statistics, schedules, injury reports, weather and betting lines come from public and licensed data sources. Betting lines are shown for reference only. GridMVP is not affiliated with the NFL, any team, or any fantasy provider.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account and history while your account is active. Delete a connected league at any time on League Sync. To delete your account and everything tied to it, contact us from the email on the account and we will remove it within 30 days. We may keep aggregate, non-identifying accuracy statistics.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work, and no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies:

• gridmvp_session keeps you signed in (up to 90 days, renewed while you use the site).
• gm_pub_theme remembers day or night mode on the public pages (one year).
• gm_league remembers a league invite link you opened before signing up, so we can welcome you to that league (30 days; cleared when you sign in or create your account).
• Stripe’s checkout and billing pages (on stripe.com) set Stripe’s own fraud-prevention cookies when you pay or manage billing; they are covered by Stripe’s policy and are strictly necessary for payment.

Inside the app we also use your browser’s own storage for conveniences such as your day/night preference. Because none of this tracks you across sites or is used for advertising, we don’t show a cookie consent banner.

Children

GridMVP is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell signed-in members in the app.
